CarGurus, the US automotive shopping website headed up by the co-founder of TripAdvisor, is to establish its European headquarters in Dublin, creating 100 new jobs over the next three years.
The Dublin office will be the firm’s first outside of the US and will be a hub for inside sales, dealer account services and technical development teams.
CarGurus was introduced to Ireland through ConnectIreland as part of the Action Plan for Jobs.
The firm’s chief executive, Langley Steinert, said CarGurus is in an “exciting time of expansion”.
“Dublin gives us access to the exceptional talent we will need to propel our continued success in Europe, and we look forward to joining the vibrant tech community in this great city,” Mr Steinert said.
CarGurus VP of people and talent acquisition, Kristen Kenny, described Dublin as full of “amazing” talent.
“We’re looking for smart, ambitious people who want to be a part of a thriving, entrepreneurial consumer technology company with a very bright future in Europe,” Ms Kenny said.
